Restaurant Data SaaS Integrations

Problem: Need to integrate our current data stream with other service providers.

Solution: Worked with SaaS vendors to extract, transform, and load (ETL) 50 restaurant locations’ data into their services.  Developed complex scripts for ETL between multiple systems and/or analyzed restaurant metrics to ensure accurate. Technologies used: Both hardware and software at store level was antiquated. Primary languages used to extract data was  Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL, and Wscript.

• RTI: Full back of the house software vendor. Data collected supported sales, menu mix, food cost, and labor. Integrated with both Wand and Panasonic/SMPLite.
• Nextwave: Anti-theft camera system. Integrated with point-of-sales system sales data with camera feed to assist store managers in identifying potential areas of concern.
• Mirus: Full service restaurant metrics/reporting services. Our integration focused on sales and menu mix data.
• Livelenz: Full service restaurant metrics and analytics service. Our integration focused on sales and menu mix data.
• Hotschedules: Employee scheduling service. Integrated time punches and employee information to support web-based scheduling services.
