Problem: BRG was to acquire 12 new stores with antiquated technologies, different pricing, and operational procedures. We were tasked with learning the store’s technology, updating their pricing, implementing technology to conform to BRGs operational procedures, and later upgrade their information technology systems to BRG standards.

Solution: This was a yearlong project and started by learning the stores’ point of sale system, learning how to program it, troubleshoot, and repair it. We also implemented technology that allowed BRG to collect reporting data, and I integrated their data into BRGs current reports. After the stores were accustomed to BRG’s operational procedures, we upgraded their point of sales systems to that used by BRG’s other 34 locations.
